Renewal means 40 hours of continuing education every two years, plus your renewal application. There's no new state exam.

Two live days, two self-paced sets.

Complete each set of self-paced lessons before the live day that builds on it. The two live days are at least one week apart.

Certificates

A certificate for every course.

CDSS asks you to upload a certificate for each course with your renewal application. Transcripts aren't accepted in place of certificates, so we issue one as soon as you complete each course.

The combined certificate is a handy record, but it doesn't replace the nine course certificates your renewal requires.
